My baby bestie is 3 months old today. 😍😭 He loves to: eat his hands, hold his head up, nap on mommy, hold his bottle when daddy feeds him, smile, kick his feet, wake up at 4 a.m. to make the cutest noises on the planet, and watch mommy get ready in the morning. Love you sweet boy, and I love being your momma. 🤎
We as women carry the very heavy weight of being incredibly emotional, while simultaneously having to hold it all together. We birth children and are expected to quickly carry on as if we didn't. We are expected to be firm yet soft. Hard working yet family-focused. Caretaker of all, yet take good care of ourselves. If you feel overwhelmed by womanhood, or motherhood... Just remember that your emotions, nurturing spirit, and empathy are superpowers. Keep trudging along, doing the work that others won't. Keep breaking barriers. Keep lifting eachother up. Keep making progress. Keep being the person everyone comes to for comfort AND to "do it all". Because if we don't, who will? Happy International Women's Day. 🤎

10 years (and 3 days, whoops) ago, I married the most wonderful man I've ever known. He is everything a girl ever dreams of in a husband; patient, kind, handsome, hilarious, hard working, a dedicated partner and an amazing father. It's been an insane year dealing with my pregnancy, then becoming parents... And he's been my rock through it all. (I can't believe he still puts up with me, honestly. 😜) I hit the jackpot with you Paul Ponder. I love laughing, playing, crying, running errands, buying groceries, and just doing life with you... because you always make the everyday tasks special and more fun. And watching you become a dad has been one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced. I can't wait to continue on this journey with you, here's to 10 years and many, many more. 🥂 Happy (belated) Anniversary, I blame the sleep deprivation & the boat show. 😅
